For our first Lighthouse Spotlight we wanted to shed light on the amazing company BANGS Shoes! BANGS Shoes is a shoe company that focuses on community, adventure, and entrepreneurial outreach. Their slogan "Your Adventure Helps Others Find Theirs" expresses their social mission of investing in entrepreneurs around the world.

The story of how the shoe came to be is a fun one! Hannah Davis, the CEO, discovered the model of simple work boots worn by workers and farmers while teaching English in China. She then constructed BANGS shoes to retain this classic feel while supporting your everyday adventures.

What I love about this company is their focus on adventure. I have an adventuring soul and love to explore. However this company does not make you feel left out if you can't jump on a plane, backpack around Europe, or scale the nearest mountain. They understand that adventure means something different to everybody and they welcome you into their BANGS community with open arms and open soles (see what I did there! ;))
